Save the date for Science for Health: Biology meets technology

Together with Walloon healthtech cluster BioWin, MEDVIA is pleased to announce this year’s date for the annual conference Science for Health. The day-long conference will take place on 28 November 2023 at the Square event center in Brussels

This year’s theme is Biology meets technology as we explore inspiring innovations at the interface of these two fascinating fields. This year, the newest generations of treatment and prevention platforms take center stage, as do the factories of the future that turn ideas into applications. Revolutionizing healthcare at every turn – technology is leading the way!

This year’s edition of Science for Health will address key topics around the theme, such as:

Innovative treatment and prevention platforms We will feature innovations of strategic importance, highlighting how technology has played a role in their discovery and development. Also on the program will be new generations of therapeutics and vaccines with great promise for clinical development

Innovations in biopharmaceutical engineering Turning innovative leads into medicines: We will discuss what the factory of the future will look like. How can we effectively implement novel tools such as data analytics, robotics and automation in the development of our innovations?

Roadmap for the future Belgium faces specific opportunities and challenges on its way to become a leading region in healthtech. Which regulatory challenges do we need to address, and what does the ideal investment climate look like? How can we optimally cultivate talent?
