Hey brainiac, join us for Brainy Breakfasts!

In September, MEDVIA launched a morning get-together for our members to meet, share inspirations and score free croissants. At Brainy Breakfast you find no PowerPoint presentations and no speeches – just an hour-long, theme-led casual discussion with fellow slimmeriken.

We are delighted to announce the second edition of Brainy Breakfast!

09 November, 8.00-9.15
BioVille, Abis building, Agoralaan, Diepenbeek
Featuring: Tim Buckinx of Epihunter
Free parking on site

BioVille is Limburg’s hotspot for organizations and start-ups working in health and care, so there’s no better place to gather all you smarty-pants people together to rap with Tim Buckinx. He co-founded Epihunter in response to a question posed by his epilectic son: “Dad, can you create a light that turns on when my brain switches off?”

The Epihunter app now makes seizures visible to the outside world, tracks them and helps with reporting patterns. At Brainy Breakfast, Tim will kick-off the discussion about developing business models for tomorrow’s healthtech ecosystems.

This edition of Brainy Breakfast is open to companies outside our membership base. But space is limited, so registration is required. Registrations will close when maximum capacity is reached.

Brainy Breakfasts will move around among the provinces on a semi-monthly basis. Check our Events page and future newsletters for details on subsequent outings near you!

Better together

and are joining forces in a brand new organization

The members of MEDVIA and flanders.bio have voted to merge their activities in the first half of 2025. With a united voice, we will champion the entire healthtech and biotech ecosystem on the regional, federal and European stage.

The merger allows MEDVIA and flanders.bio to align activities and deliver more powerful support for our collective members. We will achieve greater impact with more dynamic networking opportunities, better directed funding and increased efficiency, sharpening our focus in common areas and drafting strategic roadmaps for Flanders.
