Party for a good cause at KU Leuven’s Breinfestijn in September

Hey brainiac, ever heard a concert by researchers? You can during Breinfestijn, the Leuven Brain Institute’s big fundraiser on the evening of 19 September.

The Leuven Brain Institute unites brain research at KU Leuven, UZ Leuven and UPC KU Leuven. Some 150 professors and more than 500 passionate researchers join forces to understand how our noggins work and to find solutions for Alzheimer’s Disease, Parkinson’s, stroke, epilepsy, depression and psychosis.

During this fundraising event, a fine selection of authors from the KU Leuven ranks will read from books they have published in recent years about the brain. And you will get the chance to boogie to the Big Brain Band, made up of music-making researchers.
