Our members gathered together for MEDVIA’s first networking event on 23 June. Bioscape in Zwijnaarde hosted MEDVIA and attendees from our more than 80 members for the event, which included a MEDVIA update, presentation by Indigo Diabetes CEO Danaë Delbeke and a reception with food and drink.
MEDVIA CEO Ann Van Gysel took members through a history of the organization so far and discussed future perspectives. Members heard about project funding, upcoming events and how MEDVIA can support their projects and search for partners as well as develop tailored services with the help of service and technology providers.
We then heard from Danaë Delbeke about how she and her team at Indigo Diabetes developed and marketed the smallest continuous multi-metabolite monitoring sensor in the world. The inspiring presentation demonstrated how the company is tackling challenges that many of our members face.
We closed MEDVIA’s first networking event exchanging ideas and experiences during a reception with dinner and drinks.
