MEDVIA launches CEO Roundtable: Let’s rap about reimbursement

MEDVIA is pleased to announce a new initiative: CEO Roundtable, a C-level meeting and lunch focused on a specific topic that is of concern to our members. Our own CEO, Ann Van Gysel, will host the meeting a few times a year.

We are inviting C-level executives from our membership base to come share experiences, suggest solution-oriented ideas and enter into discussion with our guest speakers. Our first CEO Roundtable takes place on 26 October and will be focused on challenges involved in healthtech products and reimbursement policies.

CEO Roundtable: Reimbursement challenges
26 October 10.15-12.30, followed by lunch
Auberge de Pecheur
Pontstraat 41, 9831 Sint-Martens-Latem
Guest speaker: Prof Dr Jochen Klucken

Reimbursement in Belgium is a challenge for many of our healthtech members and RIZIV administrators alike. How do we reconcile the speed of innovation with the necessity of a procedural approach to medical reimbursements? Join us to hear case studies from two countries moving in the right direction: Luxembourg and Germany.

Germany’s DiGA system is attracting attention from around the world for its focus on channeling new digital health applications into the healthcare system, making them accessible to providers and patients.

Our keynote speaker at our first CEO Roundtable is Prof Dr Jochen Klucken, the chair of digital medicine at the University of Luxembourg and one of the authors of the DiGA system.

The CEO Roundtable is open to C-level executives among MEDVIA’s membership who are developing or assisting in developing healthtech innovations. All Roundtables are followed by lunch at the same location. There is a fee of €150 for members at the Cultivate and Connect levels. Carry members attend for free (€150 no-show fee).

Please let us know by 1 October if you are interested in attending the first CEO Roundtable on reimbursements. We will contact you following your registration.
