MEDVIA invites our members to our annual General Assembly on 23 April at Technopolis in Mechelen. This year’s GA will be followed by a keynote and an afternoon of Showcase Session where our members introduce themselves to each other!

What is the General Assembly?

The GA is the annual event where all our members come together to hear about the work of MEDVIA and to voice their opinion on various issues. We will vote on the approval of new members and on the budget for the coming year.*

We have turned this year’s GA into a full-day event with a keynote, plenary session detailing MEDVIA’s initiatives and services and Showcase Sessions, where our members present their projects, innovations and invitations to collaborate!

The General Assembly is only open to members of MEDVIA and is free of charge. Register here to attend the General Assembly.

Who is giving the keynote?

Our GA keynote will be delivered by Dr Leen Gorissen (pictured right), a specialist in
 natural intelligence R&D and the founder of Centre4NI. A biologist by training, she is specialized in ecology, transition science, regenerative design and bio-inspired innovation. Dr Gorissen is the author of the book Building the Future of Innovation on Millions of Years of Natural Intelligence and a thought leader on innovation-beyond-the-usual.

What are Showcase Sessions?

This year we are opening the floor to our members to introduce themselves to the rest of our membership. We asked our members to register for a Showcase slot to present their products, services or partnering needs. The GA showcase sessions allow us to get to know each other and discover what we’re working on.

The slots are now full, and we are looking forward to hearing about all our members innovations!
