Apply now for Predictive Health Informatics & Data Engineering program

AZ Delta’s RADar Learning and Innovation Centre in Roeselare is accepting applications for the Phidess Summer School. Phidess stands for Predictive Health Informatics and Data Engineering.

The five-day course takes place from 4-8 September and is geared towards hospital IT developers, data engineers and AI experts. Places are limited, so interested parties must apply to take part. The application deadline is 1 July.

This first edition of the course promises to make participants ready for data analytics using OMOP CDM. Phidess will enhance Python, SQL and problem-solving skills and help hospitals set up their own platform. There will be hands-on exercises covering data gateway implementation, secure cloud setup via terraform scripting, standardization into OMOP CDM, prediction insights and logistic regressions.

A series of interactive sessions, exercises and team assignments will prepare participants to work in small groups on clinically relevant projects like lung and prostate cancer and CAD survival.
