MEDVIA contributes to EP PerMed report on personalized medicine

The report “De-risking Innovation in Personalised Medicine”, the result of the first EP PerMed Round Table, has been published. Together with EIT Health, EP PerMed – the European Partnership for Personalised Medicine – held its first Round Table on 27 May 2024 in Brussels.

Several experts were brought together for the Round Table, including MEDVIA’s Director of Innovation & Strategy, Isabelle Francois. She joined experts from UZ Gent, Biocat, Solvay and others representing industry, healthcare, research and policy to discuss the future of personalized medicine in the Benelux region and beyond.

Actionable insights

The round table was an engaging platform where key topics such as Talent & Skills and Supporting Infrastructures were explored in depth. Discussions focused on the need for skill redevelopment among healthcare professionals, for enhancing health literacy and for overcoming data and infrastructure challenges.
