Communications project manager – events & funding calls
Join a dynamic team of event and communications specialists at Flanders’ health innovation cluster representing the biotech and healthtech sectors
Biovia, the industry-driven membership organization representing all sectors at the crossroads of health innovation in Flanders, is hiring a full-time project manager to coordinate communications and marketing for our flagship events, General Assembly, internationalization program and project calls.
Biovia hosts four flagship events, three of them annually:

What you’ll do
As our communications project manager, you will work with event programmers to organize and produce communications and marketing materials for our flagship events and our internationalization programs, as well as future planned programs. The job also includes communications for our twice yearly project calls and our annual General Assembly. You will:
- Create communications strategies and timelines
- Brainstorm on titles, taglines, themes, visual and verbal identities
- Develop marketing strategies for conferences
- Create engaging content
- Create digital marketing banners (using eg Canva)
- Collaborate with designers, web developers, printers, photographers and videomakers
- Manage social media accounts
- Announce project calls and successfully funded projects
- Manage documentation, contacts and mailings for General Assembly
- Meet strict deadlines
Who you are
You are strong in project management and able to fit flawlessly into a diverse team of event programmers, coordinators and managers, as well as into the communications team. You are able to work independently and take initiative to make decisions and get things done. You have a proven track record in digital and print communications and marketing.

Other job requirements
- Able to legally work in Belgium
- Able to work in our office in Ghent
- English or Dutch native proficiency with min B2 in other language
- Driving license and own car (preferred but not required)
