MEDVIA’s Extraordinary General Assembly – November 2024
28 Nov 2024

MEDVIA is holding an Extraordinary General Assembly on 28 November to vote on two new members of the Board of Directors

All members of MEDVIA are invited to an Extraordinary General Assembly (EGA), which will be held online on 28 November from 10.00-12.00. The purpose of this EGA is to elect two new members to MEDVIA’s Board of Directors. This EGA was announced at our General Assembly last April.

The agenda for the Assembly is as follows:

1.      Succession of directors – uptake in bylaws of decision from GA on 23 April 2024
2.      Election of two new industry board members
3.      Information and notation of other board member appointments
4.      Update on MEDVIA / flanders.bio collaboration

Board members must be from organizations at the Carry level, and MEDVIA has been accepting applications from our Carry-level members who are not already on our Board of Directors.

It is also Carry-level members who have voting rights at our GAs. It is therefore crucial that at least one representative of all MEDVIA’s Carry members are present at this EGA. Each Carry member has one vote. If more than one person from your organization is attending the EGA, please let us know which person will be voting. We do of course encourage all of our members to join us at the EGA to meet our new board members and to hear updates from MEDVIA.

Participants need to register by 26 November.

Better together

and are joining forces in a brand new organization

The members of MEDVIA and flanders.bio have voted to merge their activities in the first half of 2025. With a united voice, we will champion the entire healthtech and biotech ecosystem on the regional, federal and European stage.

The merger allows MEDVIA and flanders.bio to align activities and deliver more powerful support for our collective members. We will achieve greater impact with more dynamic networking opportunities, better directed funding and increased efficiency, sharpening our focus in common areas and drafting strategic roadmaps for Flanders.
