Innovate Together or Fail Alone: The Urgency for Cross-Sector Collaboration
16 Jun 2025

MEDVIA is pleased to return to HLTH Europe as the event’s only Belgian partner in 2025. Join us in Amsterdam for the second edition of this healthcare innovation event.

We invite everyone attending HLTH Europe to our session: Innovate Together or Fail Alone: The Urgency for Cross-Sector Collaboration in Healthcare. Our panel will discuss how breaking down silos and fostering collaboration can push them to be more patient-centered, data-driven and efficient.

Speakers include:

  • Montse Daban, Director of Strategic Foresight, Biocat (BioRegion of Catalonia)
  • Hendrik Vercammen, Co-founder, Sightera Biosciences (AI-powered, patient-centric therapies)
  • European Commission (Name TBC)

Then it’s your turn! We will host a collaborative speed-dating session where you can connect in groups to share your thoughts and brainstorm solutions.

Better together

and are joining forces in a brand new organization

The members of MEDVIA and flanders.bio have voted to merge their activities in the first half of 2025. With a united voice, we will champion the entire healthtech and biotech ecosystem on the regional, federal and European stage.

The merger allows MEDVIA and flanders.bio to align activities and deliver more powerful support for our collective members. We will achieve greater impact with more dynamic networking opportunities, better directed funding and increased efficiency, sharpening our focus in common areas and drafting strategic roadmaps for Flanders.
