Are you a service provider and a member of MEDVIA or of flanders.bio? Then you can sign up for our first-ever roadmapping workshop specifically designed for service providers.

What we’ll do

Service providers (SPs) will be split into one of two sessions (morning or afternoon) and further into two parallel groups, chosen according to the SP’s focus:

• Human biotech
• Agrifood biotech
• Medical devices
• Digital health

Then we will go over all the steps companies need to take when developing a product, therapy or application for which they need an SP. While the four groups have much in common, there might also be also specific legal and regulatory requirements that apply to a group separately.

The result will be a roadmap for innovators as to what they need to consider, from developing their idea to post-market surveillance.

Why we’ll do it

Companies are good at developing products – that’s what they do! But all those other considerations – from staffing to intellectual property rights to MDR regulations to clinical trials – are not their expertise.

That’s where SPs come in. MEDVIA and flanders.bio (recently merged into one organization) want to know all the steps involved from every SP’s point of view – creating a roadmap for healthtech and biotech companies, from idea all the way through post-market surveillance.

One look at the roadmap, and companies will know what they need to consider as they move through the develop and creation of a product, therapy or application. Ultimately, we will create a system whereby all SP members can place themselves on the roadmap, letting all our collective members know which of the steps match with their expertise.

The number of participants will be limited to 60, with 30 taking part in the morning and 30 in the afternoon. Everyone can come together during the networking lunch.
