FIT info session: Flemish Week and Health & Well-Being Week, Expo 2025 Osaka
19 Feb 2025

Flanders Investment and Trade (FIT) is hosting an information session on Flemish Week and Health & Well-Being Week, which take place at Expo 2025 in Osaka this summer.

Flemish Week (16-21 June) is a group mission to Tokyo and Osaka together with Flemish minister-president Matthias Diependaele.

Health & Well-Being Week (20 June to 01 July) is one of Osaka’s theme weeks, part of the Expo’s overarching theme Designing Future Society for Our Lives. The Belgian Pavilion is located in the Saving Lives district and is structured around the concept of Human Regeneration, humans as living organisms and the ability to reconstitute an organ or tissue.

FIT’s info session on 19 February will be in Dutch and is beneficial for companies and stakeholders interested in contributing to the exhibitions at the Expo, as well as anyone interested in a global view on health challenges and opportunities.

Info session agenda:

Better together

and are joining forces in a brand new organization

The members of MEDVIA and flanders.bio have voted to merge their activities in the first half of 2025. With a united voice, we will champion the entire healthtech and biotech ecosystem on the regional, federal and European stage.

The merger allows MEDVIA and flanders.bio to align activities and deliver more powerful support for our collective members. We will achieve greater impact with more dynamic networking opportunities, better directed funding and increased efficiency, sharpening our focus in common areas and drafting strategic roadmaps for Flanders.
