Biovia – the result of a merger between MEDVIA and flanders.bio – has launched its second funding call of the year. Biovia provides €8 million in non-dilutive, earmarked funding annually. Funding is provided by Flanders Innovation & Entrepreneurship (VLAIO).

Funding is provided to consortia made up of partners from the biotech, medtech or digital health sectors with a project addressing an unmet medical need. This can be in value-based healthcare, efficiency, therapeutics, diagnostics, monitoring, prevention or sustainability.

VLAIO has several funding mechanisms, and, as an official Flemish spearhead cluster, Biovia helps your consortium choose which one is right for you. Looking for partners to form a consortium? We can help you with that too, not least of all with our RFP tool.

Don’t miss our 2025.2 Call for Project Funding Info Webinar on 26 August, where you will find out about the entire funding portfolio, requirements of each mechanism and the services offered by Biovia is making your application a success.
